The Bio
From a backroom table in Ajitgarh — to the national circuit.
Harpreet picked up his first cue at fourteen, in a small club in Ajitgarh where the cushions were slow and the lighting worse. Within two years he was the youngest player in the local senior circuit. By 2015 he was a Punjab State semi-finalist. By 2019, the state champion.
What separates him from most coaches isn't just the trophies — it's how he reads the table. He teaches break-building as a sequence, not a series of shots. He teaches safety play as a conversation with your opponent. He teaches the mental game most coaches never even mention.
In 2023 he founded Samaura Academy with a hard rule: small batches, selection-based intake, no passengers. Every student is personally chosen. Every session is on tournament-grade Sharma S-1 Pro tables with Aramith balls — the exact equipment used at the national level — so when his students walk into a real tournament, nothing about the conditions surprises them.

How Coaching Works
Batches, selection, and what to expect.
Every student is personally assessed before being placed in a tier — Beginner, Intermediate, or Competitive. Batches are small by design (4–8 players) so the coach can correct grip, stance, cue action, and shot selection in real time on the table. Each session is 90 minutes: 20 minutes drills, 50 minutes guided play, 20 minutes match analysis and homework.
